I May Not Have A Boyfriend, But I Do Have Jeans

July 21st, 2013

I had so much fun yesterday!

I went shopping with my cousin Maggie. I don’t get to see her enough, so it was really nice to spend the day together. We went all over the mall and tried on a lot of things; I think we were there for five hours. It didn’t even seem like a long time.

I got these jeans from Express:ImageI tried them on without checking the price (always a mistake) and fell in love. When I got out of the dressing room I looked and they were $80! I was heartbroken. There was no way I was spending that much on jeans, even if they did fit great and I had been looking for good fitting boyfriend jeans for two years. So I left the store and went to Gap. I tried on some jeans, but they just didn’t compare. Then I remembered my favorite app…Retail Me Not, a website that compiles all of the coupon codes for stores in one place. Anytime I buy something online I look there first, and I often wind up saving some money.

I pulled open the app, looked up Express, and lo and behold, found a coupon for thirty dollars off!

I was so excited, I nearly ran back to Express and bought my jeans!

I also picked up a few bras at Victoria’s Secret. All of their clearance bras are $15; It’s some kind of special they do twice a year.

My outfit was a repeat of the skirt from my first post, and my Kohl’s tank from my haul the other day. I really love the tank, it’s comfortable, flattering, and it only cost six dollars. What more can you ask for?

Tank here and skirt here.

We came back to the beach house and had a wonderful dinner with the while family. My cousin Bridget made a wicked good eclair ring. You can find her cooking blog here.

I hope you all had a fabulous day!
